In order to run effective projects, RESDO must help constantly improve the capacities of its staff, its partners in development and the communities projects are intended for. Capacity building can be in different forms; including institutional, physical or intellectual; depending on the needs of target community. Sometimes this can be increasing physical infrastructure such as building schools, health center, and WASH facilities. Building intellectual capacity can be passing on new knowledge, technology and skills to communities’ members.
RESDO will give considerable attention to building the institutional capacity of local and woreda governments, institutions and other community based organizations in order to build their capabilities to perform their goals and objectives in an appropriate manner. RESDO by doing this aim at implementing programs efficiently and enhancing the coping mechanisms of the local communities and their institutions.
